ARB Public Relations is a senior-led communications practice built for organizations that want big-agency instincts without the layers in between.

We work with a curated roster of clients on retainer and project engagements, which means every account gets the founder’s attention, the same hands on the work from pitch to placement, and the kind of follow-through that comes from being genuinely invested in the outcome.
Our approach is editorial first. We think like the reporters we pitch, create copy that sounds like a real person wrote it, and treat every story as a chance to move a brand forward, not just fill a placement log.

Expertise

01

Media Relations + Press Strategy

Targeted pitching, press strategy, and the reporter relationships to back it up. Built to land coverage that actually moves the needle, from local broadcast to national business press.
Includes: media list development, press releases, pitch writing, deskside briefings, press kits, and coverage reporting.

02

Brand Storytelling + Messaging

The foundation everything else stands on. Before a brand can earn coverage, it needs to know what it stands for and how to say it. We build positioning, messaging frameworks, and language that holds up whether it’s in a pitch, on a website, or coming out of a founder’s mouth on a panel.
Includes: brand positioning and narrative development, messaging architecture, boilerplate and company backgrounders, and internal messaging guides.

03

Partnerships + Collaborations

Pairings that make editors and audiences pay attention. From concept through announcement, partnerships designed to become national moments rather than footnotes.
Includes: partner identification and outreach, co-branded campaign strategy, joint announcement planning, and creator and influencer collaborations.

04

Experiential Strategy + Events

Trade show floors, launches, and brand activations engineered for coverage, turning in-person moments into stories that travel well beyond the room.
Includes: trade show and launch media strategy, on-site press management, media preview events, and post-event coverage amplification.

05

Executive Communications

Thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and media training that build executive reputations deliberately one byline, panel, and interview at a time.
Includes: ghostwritten bylines and op-eds, speaker submissions, award nominations, and media training.

How an engagement starts

1) Start with a conversation

A no-pressure intro call to hear your story, your goals, and what “earned attention” should look like for you.

2) Get a right-sized plan

A clear scope, either a retainer or project-based, built around the priorities that matter, not a one-size-fits-all program.

3) Same hands, pitch to placement

The person you meet on day one is the person doing the work: pitching, following through, and reporting on what landed.

Meet Anne Randolph Brown

Anne Randolph Brown is a public relations consultant with 20 years of in-house and agency experience. She’s pitched everything from frozen foods to power equipment to art museums, and she’s built her career on a simple bet: the story is the solution.

She’s led media relations for Smithfield Foods, STIHL Inc., The Home Depot, Real Good Foods, and John Deere, securing coverage in Forbes, Reuters, Architectural Digest, Better Homes & Gardens, People, and Good Housekeeping. Along the way she’s built executive reputations, launched products into crowded categories, and turned trade show floors and brand partnerships into national moments.

ARB Public Relations is what comes next: a boutique practice built on the editorial instincts and relationships she’s spent a career sharpening. Anne Randolph earned her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and lives in Virginia Beach, Va., with her husband and two sons. When she’s not working, she’s at the beach, on the tennis court, or somewhere in between.
